Description:
Experience the best views and most iconic attractions of Antigua on this mountain ATV adventure, combining scenic lookouts, fun exploration, and cultural stops.
The tour begins with a visit to Cerro de la Cruz, one of Antigua’s most famous landmarks, offering a panoramic view of the colonial city and its surrounding volcanoes. After taking photos and walking around the viewpoint, continue up into the highlands toward Hobbitenango, a Lord of the Rings–themed eco-park nestled in the mountains of El Hato. Leave your ATVs in the parking area and hop into a pick-up truck for a short scenic ride up to the park, where you can enjoy incredible views, games, and activities in a whimsical forest setting.
After your visit, return to your ATVs and head across the valley to San Juan del Obispo, a charming village on the foothills of Volcán de Agua. Visit Chocolate Antigua, a local chocolate factory where you’ll learn about the chocolate-making process, taste several varieties, and shop for your favorites. Before returning to Antigua, enjoy a local lunch stop and one last beautiful view of the valley.
