Playa Blanca Tour (Departure from Río Dulce, Izabal)

A full-day adventure to explore the best of the region: visit San Felipe Castle (optional entry), Bird Island, the Waterflower Garden, Mangrove Lagoon, Hot Springs, Río Dulce Canyon, the Garífuna town of Livingston, Seven Altars, and the white-sand beach of Playa Blanca. All in one complete tour departing early in the morning and returning around 5:00 p.m.

Itinerary (approx. 8 hours)

• Early departure (time depends on tides).
  • San Felipe Castle – panoramic view (optional entry).
  • Bird Island – bird-watching stop.
  • Waterflower Garden.
  • Mangrove Lagoon – boat ride.
  • Hot Springs – optional bath.
  • Río Dulce Canyon – photo stop.
  • Garífuna town of Livingston – free time.
  • Seven Altars – cultural visit (Q20 per person).
  • Playa Blanca – relax on the white-sand beach; entrance includes one drink (soda, beer, or coconut).
  • Return to Río Dulce at approx. 5:00 p.m.

  • Playa Blanca Entrance: Q35 per person (includes one drink: soda, beer, or coconut)

Safety

• All our boats are equipped with life jackets and a first-aid kit.
  • Life jackets must be worn during the boat ride.

Cancellation & Change Policies

• Cancellations at least 24 hours in advance: full refund.
  • Date changes at least 24 hours in advance: no cost, subject to availability.
  • If weather or tide conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule the tour for free.
