Designed especially for photography lovers and nature enthusiasts, this expedition takes you deep into the Puerto Arturo Wildlife Reserve, one of Petén’s most spectacular natural sanctuaries. With its mirror-like lagoons, tropical wetlands, and dense forests alive with wildlife, Puerto Arturo offers endless opportunities for capturing the perfect shot — from colorful macaws and toucans to misty jungle mornings and starlit nights.

Guided by local experts familiar with the best times and locations for wildlife sightings, this immersive experience combines adventure, tranquility, and creativity in the heart of Guatemala’s untouched nature.

Itinerary

Day 1 Departure from Flores / Arrival at Puerto Arturo
Depart Flores at 8:00 AM for your journey to the Puerto Arturo Reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and settle into your eco-camp or lodge. Spend the afternoon exploring the area with your camera — perfect for golden-hour photography by the lagoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the reserve.

Day 2 Wildlife & Landscape Photography
Begin early with a sunrise photo session as mist rises over the lagoon. After breakfast, embark on a boat tour and guided hike, capturing local flora and fauna in their natural habitats. Afternoon free for creative exploration or macro photography in the forest. Dinner and stargazing photography session (optional).

Day 3 Morning Photography & Return to Flores
Enjoy a final morning shoot at sunrise before breakfast. Return to Flores around midday with unforgettable images and memories.
